Independent roleplayers:
elenaarlington:
I want to make an independent roleplaying account. Maybe a university student or something. But I have some questions:
How does independent roleplaying work?
Ho does someone actually being roleplaying with others? I’m only use to talking to other in the same rp?
Do people actually roleplay with these characters?
Where can you easily find others?
Any advice?
Work on setting up your own account; your character, their information, and possibly reblog/post pictures and self paragraphs that would relate to your character. Sometimes you’ll have to make due with talking to yourself in order to lure people in. You’re also going to want to mostly stay in character, besides those few posts/page detailing what you are looking for, and what you are; An independent account looking for fellow RPers.
Search tags. Tag posts. Tags. Tags. Tags.
Search tags- find others who would be interested in RPing with you. Don’t be afraid to ask to plot and be ready to share ideas. It may be awkward at first, but it can lead to amazing one-on-ones if both parties are willing to communicate; communication and luck are just the ingredients you need for proper partner chemistry.
Tag posts- Tag posts asking. Tag posts addressing what you are interested in. Tag open paras.
Tags; Independent RP, Original Character, Open Para. And the usual; roleplay, RPG, University RP, RP.
If you ask nicely, I’m also sure there are RP Promo sites that will promo your blog in order to help you out.
And if you do decide to open an Independent RP account, I’d love to follow.
